Co-Education Scheme

We are excited to introduce the Industry Co-Education Scheme, a groundbreaking initiative launched by the Asian Institute of Digital Finance (AIDF) in Singapore. As a university-level institute jointly founded by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the National Research Foundation (NRF), and NUS, AIDF is dedicated to being a thought leader and a FinTech knowledge hub, driving advancements in digital finance education and research.

The Co-Education Scheme is designed to enrich the education of our Digital Financial Technology (DFT) PhD students by engaging prestigious industry partners, particularly from the finance and high-tech sectors. Through this scheme, these industry partners will co-sponsor and support eligible industry leaders to co-supervise DFT PhD students, providing valuable input and expertise in their research areas. This collaboration between academia and industry ensures that our students receive a comprehensive and practical education that prepares them for the challenges and opportunities of the rapidly evolving financial landscape.

At AIDF, we believe that the convergence of academia and industry is essential for fostering innovation and excellence in digital finance. The Industry Co-Education Scheme serves as a vital component of our strategy to establish an international industry-academia collaborative education platform. In addition to industry partners, we actively seek partnerships with renowned academic institutions worldwide that are at the forefront of FinTech research and education. Through these collaborations, we aim to facilitate faculty and PhD student exchanges, encouraging collaboration, resource-sharing, and the advancement of research and industry linkages.

We are proud to announce that AIDF has already signed a co-education agreement with GIC, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, on 23 June 2023. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to forging meaningful collaborations that drive innovation and propel digital finance education forward.

We are excited about the opportunities that the Industry Co-Education Scheme presents for our students, industry partners, and the future of digital finance education. We look forward to the successful implementation of this scheme and the transformative contributions that our industry partners will make in shaping the next generation of FinTech leaders.
