OVERVIEW

SMEs across ASEAN face significant challenges in accessing the financing necessary for their survival, growth and productivity. Advances in digital technologies offer the opportunity to reduce the relatively higher transaction and information costs faced by lending institutions to enable smarter lending to SMEs.

The ASEAN SME Credit Analytics Consortium is a smart data-sharing platform using federated learning technology to pool lending experiences together, which will enable enhanced credit assessments for SME lenders in the region.
